Canada’s Dilemma – Sovereignty and National Security (Today’s Podcast)

What do Canadians want for our Country

Since 1867, Canada has been an experiment. An evolving country with massive land
and a small population. Many people have arrived in Canada, seeking something
different from where they left: some came for money; some came to escape something;
some came to own land; some came for a new type of democracy; some came to
change our democracy; some came to destroy our democracy.

Today Canadians find themselves in a time of rapid, seemingly undefined evolution.

Words like Sovereignty, National Security, and National Defence are thrown around in
speeches and debates like they all mean the same thing. Forms of government like
Socialism, Communism, Fascism, Theocracy, Fundamentalism, Far Left, Far Right, and
even Capitalism are used as if they are simply different forms of a democracy or an
evolving democracy.
