Our identity is insecure, and more so than ever before thanks to generative AI. Only I can truly know it is me. The following article appeared in Wired magazine and makes the point that AI has the capacity to compromise our images and our identity. With all the great things that AI can offer, and all the threats assumed, the one that the article addresses is that not only can my history be accessed and distorted, but that my image(s) can be found and distorted too.
