Communications Partner Agreement

Banff Venture Forum 2009

This Communications Partner Agreement is made on March 07, 2009, by and between the Banff Venture Forum (BVF) and the Alberta Council of Technologies. It documents the mutual and respective commitments and obligations of BVF and its partners involved in promoting and supporting Banff Venture Forum 2009.

Both parties agree to use their reasonable commercial efforts, individually, and with other partners, if appropriate, in organizing and promoting the BVF, which will be held on October 1st & 2nd, 2009 at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel in Banff, Canada.

In promoting the BVF, the Alberta Council of Technologies, agrees to:

  1. Publicize BVF on its web site including listing the event on its web Events Calendar if one exists. BVF will supply any logo graphics, text copy, and details required, in a form consistent with that used for other events, required for posting on the www.ABCtech.ca website.
  2. Notify its members/stakeholders/contacts within the investor/entrepreneur/technology commercialization community about BVF and actively encourage them – by their regular e-mail broadcasts, word of mouth, announcements at meetings, and other similar communications means – to attend the event.
  3. Actively encourage any Information Technology, Life Sciences and/or Energy Technology entrepreneurs that it has knowledge of – who are currently seeking funding – to apply to present their company at Banff Venture Forum 2009.
  4. Assist in mailing or e-mailing BVF brochures to its investor, entrepreneur, and technology commercialization contacts, as appropriate.
  5. Provide BVF with two copies of its organization logo graphic (.gif or .jpg format for the web and .eps or .ai format file for print) to add to the Forum website (www.banffventureforum.com). BVF will acknowledge

the Alberta Council of Technologies as an official communications partner on the website, and at the event.

BVF acknowledges that no partner will have any financial or legal responsibility for the 2009 Banff Venture Forum.

Acceptance:

By returning the signed agreement by fax to (403) 282-1238, each party agrees to uphold its commitment in this Communications Partner Agreement.
